Hey guys!

Its Cyrus here, from Respawn Productions. Unfortunately, it’s my job to tell you that our current movie-in-making “Reading to Succeed” is going into hiatus due some legal issues with the movie. Garrett Kerr, one of our actors in the film, jumped off the Port Credit Bridge (a local bridge in our town) for one of our shots, and it just came to our attention that doing such is illegal, along with swimming in the Port Credit river (our bad). The Vice Principal of our high school got word of this; and decided to take it to the authorities. It is unknown what the consequences shall be; however the movie will be postponed until further notice, we are sorry for the inconvenience this may of caused you, we’re pretty pissed off ourselves.

In the meantime though, since we can’t continue with the movie until we get word of what’s going on, Respawn Productions is going to post weekly comedy sketches to entertain you until we get the movie back on the road. What are the comedy sketches you may ask? We don’t know ourselves, but I can promise you they’ll be badass. The first one we are making will be entitled “Quit Staring At My Dick”, just to give you a taste of what’s to come.

Arm The Flag works hard to produce machinima movies. Our team has been playing together for quite some time and we’re dedicated to producing quality media for your consumption. ATF has been around for a year now and with the release of Halo 3 we, just like everyone else, are excited to see what it’s going to bring to the Halo Nation.

History

Arm The Flag was started by Josh Engel aka AnTi PRO in early 2007. We started off strong as a machinima community attracting some well known Halo 2 machinima makers as well as prominent members from the Halo Nation. We produced a number of videos before summer 2007 when AnTi PRO had to leave to work at a camp over the summer. During this time ATF was at a standstill. Upon returning late in the summer in 2007 AnTi and some old friends decided to resurrect an old gaming community known as The Fallen Gamers. Shortly after the Halo 3 launch AnTi saw that clans would not go far in Halo 3 and took the old ATF team back to their roots. We’re back and we’re better than ever.

Hey its Mak here, my good friend and creator of Charity Gamers was featured in a interview by ArmTheFlag.com by AnTi PRO. They have a great cause so check it out! Their website is CharityGamers.org.

So as an official step to becoming true pros, Respawn Studios thought they needed some nice, solid pictures. So I have recently become the “legit” photographer for the upcoming short film Reading to Succeed, among other things associated with Respawn Productions.

The organization “Too Many Games” is holding their 5th annual East Cost Expo on May 4, 2008 and all are welcome and the entry fee will be $5 extra for the actually tournament. Hey everyone, Cyrus here from Respawn Productions, here to talk to you about our first and latest project, Reading To Succeed.

The movie Reading To Succeed was first concieved of when members Cyrus Symoom and Jake Robertson discussed the idea to make a sort of film to end their first year of high school, the idea was nothing other than a short film consisting of physical and toilet humor, being nothing more than 10 minutes. A task like this couldn’t be done with a mere two people however, and Nolan Anderson was asked to be a cameraman/actor. He accepted with delight and thus, the film began. As soon as we were filming the beginning, Garrett Kerr, another in our year, decided to tag along for the fun, and thus, the “Fantastic Four” was formed.

As the days went by more and more people became interested in this short production, with over ten cast members, a website [props to Mak ;)], youtube trailer, and a scheduled DVD release.

Expect this movie to be out on April 30th for DVD release, and the date on which it is released is still to be decided.

F.A.Q.

Q: What the hell is this movie about?
A: Good question, one i’m sure 95% out there are wondering. The basic plot is a Harold and Kumar type of storyline in which four run-of-the-mill people, each with their own unique traits embark on an epic journey to the library to pick up some girls. Along the way however, they get caught up in a lot of mischief and mayhem which results in one of the greatest short films of all time.

Q: Why is Cyrus so amazingly attractive?
A: It was something he was born with.

Q: Approximately how long is this film expected to be?
A: At the rate we are going, it seems that the film will be about 30-40 minutes in length, with roughly 20 minutes of special features. In total there should be somewhere in the area of an hour of enjoyment.

Q: How much are the DVD’s?
A: That is to be decided, however the basic DVD movie should cost about $5-7 CAD, and an extra 2$ for the special features to be included.

Q: What are in the special features?
A: Some things you can expect to find are:

- Streaking
- And so much more!
